El Gobierno espera que cerca de mil estudiantes de universidades de la ciudad de Medellín se vinculen como informantes del Ejército para combatir la delincuencia, que se ha incrementado en los últimos meses, según anunció el presidente Álvaro Uribe.
“Hemos tomado una decisión, vincular a través de la Fuerza Pública a mil jóvenes universitarios de Medellín como informantes del Ejército”, puntualizó Uribe a periodistas. Cada uno de los vinculados recibirá un pago mensual de 100.000 pesos “a título de bonificación”, señaló el mandatario, quien anunció la llegada de 1.300 policías y 137 investigadores más a esa ciudad “para combatir el crimen”.
El presidente Uribe ha manifestado en varias ocasiones su preocupación por el aumento de los robos, los homicidios y los secuestros en Medellín. Según informes de Medicina Legal, en 2009 hubo 2.178 homicidios en Medellín, lo cual representa un aumento del 108 por ciento, toda vez que en 2008 se registraron 1.044 delitos de este tipo.
El recrudecimiento de los delitos en esa ciudad ha sido atribuido por las autoridades al enfrentamiento de pequeñas mafias que buscan quedarse con el negocio generado por el narcotráfico.
No se trata de que sean informantes de la policia, se trata de que sean
informantes del ejercito. El énsafis no es pues combatir la delincuencia
común, el objetivo es el enemigo interno.
